Turbo Jones predicted the destruction of Earth by a meteor shower in 2492 AD and constructed the spaceship Wildcat to search for a new (less doomed) home for humanity, assisted by his hand-picked team consisting of Kitten Magee, Loner and Joe Alien. Turbo himself was always accompanied by his assistant Robo, a mild-mannered cyborg chimpanzee (whom Jones habitually insulted and constantly told to "shut up", even when he was trying to be helpful; Jones could be a bit of an ass at times).
