Before writing his first children's book And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street, published in 1937, Geisel worked as a political cartoonist, an advertising illustrator, and a documentary filmmaker. Checker compiles some of the rarer cartoons created by Geisel in this one-of-a-kind collection. Volume 2 includes magazine and book illustrations, advertising illustrations, and other hard to find pieces.
